Art Assistant

(Part-time, approximately 2.5 days per week)

St Andrews Christian College is a Prep to Year 12 independent Christian school located in Wantirna South.

We are seeking to appoint an Art Assistant to provide support to the art teachers who provide a dynamic and innovation program to students from Prep to Year 12.

You will prepare materials and equipment, and set up and pack up rooms for art classes. During class time you will assist students with their understanding of instructions and art concepts. You will take an interest in student learning and help them to enjoy their art experience.

The ideal person for the role will have a good knowledge of art materials and their use, and be proactive with an awareness of the needs of teachers and students. This is a physical role which requires lifting, walking and standing.

The role is part-time, approximately 2.5 days per week, working during school term time only, with some additional time as required for staff meetings and professional development. The role would commence on Monday 29th January 2018.

Acceptance and adherence to the College’s Statement of Faith is an essential condition of employment.

St Andrews Christian College employs all staff and sets wages and conditions which are at least compliant with the relevant awards and the national Employment Standards (NES).  Staff wishing to access the documents related to awards and NES can do so in the following manner:
