Our Application Process

2025 Prep and Year 7 applications have now been confirmed. Any application submitted now will be placed on a waitlist.

Important Information:

We strongly recommend that you read through our Statement of Belief, the College’s Enrolment Policy and Terms and Conditions of Enrolment carefully before applying.

• We cannot accept applications from students travelling on a Student Visa – sub class 500.
  
• Please note that being on the waiting list does not guarantee a position even when applications are received several years in advance. All children on the waiting list will be considered for enrolment.
• In accordance with the selection criteria as identified by the College, parents/students may then be called for an interview. Following the interview, an offer of a place may be made by the Principal or their representative.
• A payment of a non-refundable Application Fee ($100) will be required upon completion of your application for enrolment via the Enrolment Application Portal below.

For your child(ren) to be included on the enrolment wait list, please prepare the following documents for the application process:

Arrange two written references: 

• Christian families; 
  • Must provide one pastoral reference from your church minister using the Minister/Pastor Reference form.
    This form must be emailed directly from their official church email address to enrolments@standrews.vic.edu.au and will not be accepted if passed on via the applying family. 
  • Must provide a second reference from someone who has known your family for a while and can comment on the character of your family.
    This will be uploaded via the Enrolments Application Portal. 

• Non-Christian families; 
  • Must provide two reference letters from family friends or colleagues who have known your family for a while and can comment on the character of your family. 
    This will be uploaded via the Enrolments Application Portal. 

Family reference letters only needs to be 2-3 paragraphs long commenting on the character of your family and child.

Ensure you have the following documents ready: 

1. Provide a copy of the student’s birth certificate or passport (proof of date of birth is required prior to enrolment)
2. Provide a copy of the student’s latest school report (not required for Prep applications)
3. A copy of any reports relating to educational, medical, communication, behavioural issues or special support required (where applicable)
4. A copy of any family court orders or parenting plans that have been issued in relation to the enrolling student (where applicable)
