Ensembles are Back!

We are excited to announce that our ensembles are already underway for the year. Our ensembles offer a fantastic opportunity for students to develop their musical skills, work as a team, and enjoy the many benefits that come with being a part of a group that shares a love for music. We have a wide variety of ensembles available with each being led by a skilled and experienced teacher who is passionate about helping students grow as musicians.

For those who have not yet joined an ensemble, it's not too late! We encourage all students who are interested in music to get involved. It is an excellent way to make new friends, learn new skills, and have a lot of fun along the way. Information on our Ensembles and when they rehearse can be found on the Instrumental Music Hub Page.

Finding Music Information on the Primary Hub Pages

As you know, the hub is a great resource for information about our school, its programs, and activities. However, we understand that sometimes finding specific information can be a bit tricky!

To help make navigating the hub for music information easier, we have created a pictograph that highlights exactly where you can find what you need. The pictograph is a visual representation of the hub, showing you exactly where to click/tap to access important information about our music programs, timetables, practise resources, and more.

As always, we appreciate your continued support and involvement in our instrumental music programs. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

2023 Music Information Night

It was wonderful to see so many in attendance for St Andrews Christian College’s Primary & Secondary Music Information Night, where parents were provided with valuable insights into the school's music program and students were offered the chance to explore different instruments.

The night started with a special performance by some of our music tutors, and parents and students had the opportunity to meet the music tutors in person, enabling them to learn more about the teachers and the instruments they teach.

One of the highlights of the evening was the announcement of the 2023 special offer of free instrument hire for the year for new enrolments for tuition on various wind instruments such as flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, and trombone.

This offer is available to all students who will be starting a new instrument this year, please note that regular lesson fees still apply. There are only a limited number of instruments available for this offer and instruments will be allocated in order that we receive the instrument tuition applications, so it is encouraged to get the forms in early to secure a place.

More information about the 2023 Special Instrument Offer and our Big Sound Scholarship can be found on the Hub at the Instrumental Music Homepage or by clicking on the following link 2023 Special offer and Scholarship Information

Overall, the Music Information Night was a resounding success, providing valuable information and inspiration for both parents and students. St Andrews Christian College remains committed to providing outstanding opportunities in music education and is excited to welcome new students to join in the journey. All the latest information on what is happening in St Andrews Music in 2023 is available on the Hub at the Instrumental Music homepage.
