Board News - February 2025

In our first meeting of 2025, we welcomed Walter gear to the Board. Walter is a parent nominee who was nominated by the parent group in the AGM held last year. He has 3 daughters at the College and we are so grateful he has joined us.

James, Board Chair, gave a devotion on the reminder of our need to rely on God, to live by our Christian values, to rpay incessantly for our Principal, the ELT, the Staff and our community. We cannot do any of the job before us without God.

We also spent time listening to and learning about the work of Transform the Nations (TtN) in Nepal. A group of 6 including the Principal, 3 staff members and 2 board members went to Nepal earlier this month to see and experience the transformative work that is happening amongst the poorest and lowest cast Nepalese – the difference that can be made in children’s lives when they are given the gift of real hope through Christian education and a safe home. You can expect to hear and see more around the College about the work of TtN and how our College can partner with them in this mighty work.

We were pleased to hear and see that the new school year has commenced smoothly, and we warmly welcome all new students and staff as well as existing ones – May God bless your 2025 at St Andrews.
