Board News - October 2024

In the October board meeting, the following items were covered:

• Peter Lewis led a devotion on how our College’s success can be likened to the ascension of David. Not always a smooth upwards journey of success – there are challenges along the way, but let’s choose to look at our College how God sees us – We are growing and developing, getting stronger, because He is with us and working among us. That’s our bottom line.
• We heard how students have performed very well in recent Vex Robotics competition. This is a new venture for the College and is being led extremely well by Staff in charge – very impressive results all round.
• The Budget for 2025 was reviewed and approved.
• The College’s Enrolment Policy was reviewed and approved for a further 2 years.
• A formal Board Pack will be compiled to assist all new Directors when applying for positions on the College Board.
• An improved Induction program is also underway for new Directors.
• Succession planning for Board roles was also discussed.
