St Andrews Christian College Board Notes – August 25 2022

An extraordinary general meeting has been called for Thursday October 6 at 7:30pm. The purpose of this meeting is two-fold. One, to approve an updated constitution for St Andrews Christian College. Two, to vote on nominations for the Board from the parent community.

The Board have approved a revised version of two policies

• Enrolment Policy
• Complaints and Grievance Policy

Our devotion tonight included a song that wonderfully reminded us of our worth in Christ, not in our work or anything else. You might know the song – “Thank you Jesus for the blood” (Charity Gayle).

We were pleased to welcome our acting Principal, Nick Haines, to bring his first report to the Board. It was good to hear that recruitment of a new Deputy Principal is underway. Our constant commitment to student safety is seen in the ongoing development of Student Safety Champions.

Congratulations to everyone involved with the musical ‘Singing in the Rain’. Whether you were on stage, or working in the background, you are amazing.

Our Business Manager, Darren Waterworth, presented a positive report. We are pleased to hear that the new building is on track. Please be patient with the works and the workers.
