VCE Students Achieve Deakin University Distinctions

A huge congratulations to two St Andrews Christian College students – Mykaela Coppens and Kassandra Lam for undertaking a first year university subject as a part of their 2019 VCE studies and each earning a ‘Distinction’ from Deakin University in their chosen subject.

This is a tremendous achievement for both of the girls and one that has made everyone at St Andrews Christian College immensely proud of you – well done!

Both Mykaeala and Kassandra enrolled in the 2019 ‘Higher Education Study in VCE’ program and undertook a 1st Year Deakin University subject in ‘Health Practice and Research’.

This accelerated program is available to all students who have done well in previous studies and are looking for an extra challenge of studying a first year University subject as part of their VCE year. A successful pass in that subject counts towards their VCE score and provides a defined pathway into a tertiary program.

If you would like to know more or enrol in the 2020 program contact Careers Coordinator, Mrs Irena Yevahova at St Andrews Christian College.
